Shot Composition
Today we learnt about shot composition; Shot composition is about manipulating and setting the scene. This consisted of grabbing the viewer/audiences attention and directing their eyes to a potential subject. It is also used aesthetically pleasing to the viewer. We had to demonstrate these skills and take photos that included the skills. These are the main three elements:
Framing: Framing defines the position from which the image was created, ie, it is the border between the space we are aloud to see and which is out of our sight. All frames have a shape (can be man-made or natural) - Just like this:

In terms of framing a still image, you can vary.
Leading Lines: Leading lines are lines in an image (the path) which leads to a potential subject (the sun). Your eyes naturally get drawn towards these lines.
Rule of thirds:
The Rule of Thirds Involves mentally dividing up your image using two horizontal lines and two vertical lines, as shown below:
You then position the important elements in the scene along those lines, or at the point of where they live.
