Fast and Furious 7 Genre A: Action
In fast and furious 7, there is a soundtrack during the opening scene; as the characters within the film cant hear them but the audience can solely. In addition there are different types of layers playing on each other which means its densely textured. The music which is being played is hip-hop which creates a sense of crime, violence and action which may be exemplified in the film. However, there is no dialogue but it is also diegetic as there is sound made by objects and characters.
In the opening scene , we see a man talking to another man briefly; this leads into an establishing shot as we know where they're located. It is the footage from the film, as it is the opening sequence. It starts off straight into the film, then into the titles. The colors start off very dark and is used to symbolize things like anger and a sense of mysteriousness.
The font is blurred which almost makes it seem like its moving; this fits really well with the film. It is a white color, looks professional and clean. It links to the genre very well as its about action and the fact that it seems like its moving is an excellent way of portraying it. The genre is established through things like blowing up and exploding which creates the genre of action.
Mission Impossible Genre B: Thriller/Action/Spy
There is a soundtrack. The music is jazz which can seem soothing but also energizing because of the upbeat tune. We don't get dialogue until the opening song has finished. It has some diegetic sounds in there , for example when the bomb is being lit up; it makes the sound of it igniting .
We see some faces of the subjects in the film revealing the identity; also things like bombs, guns and spy equipment. Also people working, trying to solve important cases. It is an establishing shot as it reveals things like location, who they are and weather. However, it is not just the titles in the opening sequence as there is some action in it.
Some of the fonts are very big, emphasizing the main areas, whereas some are very small meaning it isn't as vital to acknowledge. The colors white and blue were used . It links to the genre as it is slightly slanted which may not mean that, things may not be given to you and you have to fix/ sort it out yourself.The genre is established through things blowing up and through things like spy gadgets and weapons.
The Hangover Genre C: Comedy
There is a soundtrack in the opening sequence. The characters within the film can't hear them but the audience can. The music being played is blues, this genre of music creates the mood of a beautiful kind of pain and sadness. There are diegetic sounds in there as we can hear things like telephones in the back-ground and dialogue throughout.
We can see the arrangements of a wedding taking place but however, the smooth transition into the next scene seems like something may be up. Furthermore, it is an establishing shot as it reveals things like the location they're in. It is not just the titles by it self, as it includes people doing things in the background.

At first the font changes from the atmosphere it is in (wedding) then goes into a different font as the atmosphere changes again.
